Booking Form must be submitted at least 7 days in advance of arrival to reserve a spot & qualify for the group rate. A non-refundable, 25% deposit is required at the time of the booking; the remainder is due upon arrival. We do not have an accounts receivable department and therefore cannot bill you, or accept purchase orders. One complimentary chaperone ticket will be provided for every ten guests. Please do not include the complimentary chaperones in group totals, only tickets that you will be paying for (chaperones not using water do not have to pay). The park opens daily from 11am-6pm; an early opening may be requested for group 100+. Groups must pay for 100 people if the park is opened early for them. Early opening does not guarantee exclusivity, public may be permitted into the park should they arrive before regular opening. For larger groups, we suggest separating your groups into sessions; i.e. for 150 p have 75 use the water from 11-12 and the remaining 75 from 12-1. Separating larger groups will ensure all of your guests get the most of their water time. Forms may be sent to any of the following: Mail: P.O Box 41 Slocum, RI 02877 Fax: 401-295-8550 Email: Office Cancellations/Refunds Due to increasing demand for group reservations, your deposit is not refundable if the water park is open and your group cancels. Pools and waterslides are closed due to thunderstorms only. Deposits may be carried over to another visit, as long as we have at least 48 hour notice of rebooking. If you are unsure if we will open call 401-294-3802 ext. 112 before 11am or ext. 110 after 11am. Dress Code Food/Activities Your group may purchase basic items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, chips, novelty ice creams, and beverages at our Tiki Bar. Groups may bring their own food but it must be eaten in the picnic areas. Coolers and box lunches are not to be brought to the patio or the deck area of the Tiki Bar. No food or drinks are allowed inside the pool gate. There is a volleyball court your group may use and a picnic area (your group will be responsible for litter in the picnic area, should they decide to use it). We encourage them to leave the area as they found it (extra trash bags are available at the concession area). Directions Physical Address: 160 Yawgoo Valley Road, Exeter, RI 02822 From Points North: Route 95-S to Route 4-S (Exit 9) Take Exit 5B off Route 4-S onto Route 102-N. Continue one mile, then take left onto Route 2-S. Approximately 3.5 miles left onto Yawgoo Valley Road. Continue one mile, Water Park (same lot as ski area) will be on right. Important Please make drivers aware that we are located in Exeter, RI and are not affiliated with the Yawgoog Scout Camp located in Hopkinton, RI. Arrival Please do your best to arrive on time; other groups may be booked immediately following your reservation and we may not be able to accommodate your water park time later than your original registration. If your group is coming by bus, please have a representative report to the tiki bar so a member of our lifeguard staff can board your bus to present rules and directions, otherwise groups may gather by the lifeguard chair prior to entering the water to receive the rules. Lifeguards will also require that all “non-swimmers” be designated by a special band that will be provided. Groups may choose any available picnic area, not the pavilion or main tent area. Chaperones will be assigned locations within the pool/slide area, to help maintain group safety by the lifeguards on duty. Group leaders & chaperones are responsible for all of their participants in and out of the pool area. Participants misbehaving may be asked to “sit out” of the pool area temporarily or permanently at the discretion of lifeguards. Chaperones MUST accompany any child who wishes to use the indoor restrooms. |
